Reviews: Boy Jumps Ship - Engines

Rating: 8Following sobre's debut self-titled beginning of the year, Boy jumps ship have returned with a package of more complete background on his second attempt. 'Engines' mix the grandiose sense of young guns with pop hooks of Futures, resulting in a final product of pleasant background. 'Not burn' is accessible enough for the radio game bit but there still is enough sand in 'the ocean' and 'Don' t be A Stranger' win over the skeptics of rawk. It is an EP riffs fill galore and band coaching vocals and a good effort of this Quartet of Geordie.
